Big 6 of Building Relationships with Your Kids
Mondays 7-8:30 PM, Zoom 7 weeks (Intro +6 sessions) September 14-October 26, 2026 Parenting is deeply relational—and building strong, secure relationships with our children takes intention, practice, and a willingness to grow. This 7-week group is based on a framework developed by Adam Young that identifies six key relational needs children have and the ways caregivers can meet those needs. Together, we’ll explore what it looks like to show up for our children with greater attunement, responsiveness, engagement, emotional regulation, and a willingness to repair. This group is not about becoming a perfect parent. Instead, it’s an opportunity to better understand yourself, recognize the ways you are already showing up well, identify areas where you want to grow, and develop practical strategies for building stronger, more connected relationships with your children. |

Adult Autism Process Group
Sundays 5:30-7pm, Inner Strength Counseling Services (San Ramon) 8 Weeks September 13-November 1, 2026 This 8-week process group offers an opportunity to build genuine connections with other autistic adults while exploring the experiences that can shape how folks on the spectrum engage with the world. Together, we’ll talk about belonging and masking, communication and conflict, boundaries, rejection, relationships, and self-advocacy—all within a supportive, neurodiversity-affirming environment. Learn more about this group
Rather than following a rigid curriculum, each week will leave room for members to bring their own experiences, questions, and challenges. We’ll use the group itself as a place to practice being seen, expressing needs, navigating differences, giving and receiving feedback, and noticing patterns in relationships. You don’t need to have everything figured out—or even know exactly what you want to talk about. The goal isn’t to “fix” autistic ways of relating, but to create a space where you can better understand yourself, connect with others, and explore relationships on your own terms. This group will be led by Taylor Odom and Rachel Ingram. Taylor specializes in neurodiversity and has 10 years of experience as a teacher, research assistant, and clinician working with neurodivergent folks of all ages. Rachel is an experienced group facilitator, and her background working with families brings a particular strength in navigating relationships, communication, and systems-level work. |
